The Bible and the Bachelorette

Progressive christianity has made a caricature of Jesus. They have replaced the Biblical Lion of the tribe of Judah with a BFF hippy that loves them just the way they are. They dislike the real Jesus, so they subjectively alter Him into a fictitious Jesus, by making a mental construct of Him to suite their sinful lifestyle. They psychotically craft a phantasm in their head and worship the work of their imagination. This is the pathway of the damned. This is the lie of the serpent: that you can have all the benefits of heaven while simultaneously spurning heaven’s Creator. The truth is, what you do and who you are still matters.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7 KJV)
I came across an article that epitomized this cheap grace gospel. Here is an excerpt from “The Bachelorette”:
“Let’s say you have had sex with one or multiple of these guys, I would be wanting to go home,” Luke P admitted.
Hannah B, also a professing Christian, immediately took offense to Luke P’s comments and confessed that she has had “physical relations” with some of the other contestants but “Jesus stills loves her.”
“Regardless of anything that I've done, I can do whatever, I sin daily and Jesus still loves me. It's all washed and if the Lord doesn't judge me and it's all forgiven, then no other man, woman ... anything can judge me,” Hannah B told Entertainment Weekly after the promo aired.
“Nobody's gonna judge me, I won't stand for it,” she continued.(1)
Hannah B said “I can do whatever, I sin daily and Jesus still loves me”. Really Hannah? “I can do” is in the present tense. You admit that you are actively promiscuous and you think God’s okay with that? If you are like Hannah, you need to hear this: God does not love you so much that your sin is insignificant in comparison. God’s love for you is contingent on your obedience to Him. Jesus said:
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." (John 14:21 NIV)
Hannah B is in spiritual peril. She does not regard the Lord’s commandments as worth following, meaning, she does not love Jesus. That is what John 14:21 said. And since she does not love Jesus, God does not love her (again, the verse states this explicitly). It doesn’t matter if Hannah says she loves Jesus, she is self-deluding herself if she is refusing to follow Him. Her actions prove her a liar. Put your money where your mouth is Hannah and stop having pre-marital sex.

It is sadly ironic. She professes to be a Christ follower, while simultaneously admitting that she doesn’t follow Christ. Her own words show her irrationality. And further adding insult to injury, she is blaspheming the Lord Jesus’ holy name by trivializing His death. She believes in cheap grace. This woman has no shame and no fear of God. She is either a false convert or on the pathway to apostasy. Or perhaps she is simply a follower of the newly emerging cult of faux christianity. Wake up woke generation. He who has an ear, let him hear:
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Absolutely not! Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness? (Romans 6:14-16 BSB)
As revealed in these verses, Hannah B has submitted herself to be a slave to sexual sin. Sexual sin is her master; Jesus isn’t. Obedience to Jesus is said to be righteousness (verse 16). Disobedience to Jesus, or submission to sin, is wickedness. Hannah B is therefore wicked. Yet she thinks she is righteous. She is falsely appropriating God’s grace without repentance. Yet, God doesn’t forgive your sin without repentance. Hannah B is not forgiven. Hannah B doesn’t actually know what the gospel is. Grace is contingent on repentance. And repentance is contingent on shame and fear (verse 21)(3). Hannah B doesn’t seem to regret her sin, and she hasn’t stopped being licentious. This is a problem. The born again are not licentious!! And if by finding God’s grace, and repenting of their sin, they return to it … there is no more grace to forgive them. For Jesus cannot die twice for their sin. Did you hear that? Are you starting to understand the fear of God and the importance of obedience?
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:26-30 NIV)
In the New Testament the word for repentance is "metanoia". Metanoia is an amalgamation of two facets: The first facet is (1) remorse, and the second facet is (2) to change one’s mind.

If you are actively engaging is premarital sex you do not fear God, and you are evidently not remorseful enough to stop. The ramifications here are dire. Your mind is still carnal and you do not seem to be born again. Throw away that self-made caricature of Jesus that enables you to sin, and pick up the Word of God and read about the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!! The real Lord Jesus will make your knees faint and your heart sing!! Learn who He is and tremble in the shame of your sin. Repent, for God is good and will cover your shame and make you into something special. He will make you into His beloved child; But only if you repent and obey.

Hannah B … "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other" (Mat 6:24 NIV). You must choose between God and pre-marital sex. This is a choice between light and darkness, between life and death, and between happiness and misery. Choose well Hannah. Choose your master and your heart will change accordingly.

(2)    This is during the course of the show’s filming; she confesses to having had sex with at least 2 of the other contestants.

(3)    "What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of?" (Romans 6:21 NIV)
